The Hogle Zoo

We went to the zoo with Brady, Jillian, and Baby Xander.  This was Brooke's first trip to the zoo.  The zoo was a lot of fun.  We hadn't been yet since they added the new Rocky Shores exhibit with the polar bears and seals.  It was a pretty hot day so most of the animals were sleeping and not very active.  We still had a lot of fun though because it is always nice to get out and do something.

 Brooke and Lydia thought it was so much fun getting to ride on Justin's shoulders!

 Brooke thinks that she is just as big as Lydia and wanted to be able to see everything too!

 

 

 I love it when the girls will both smile and somewhat look at the camera when I take a picture of them.  They are both so cute!

 

 Lydia loves to ride the carousel.  We can't walk past it without her begging to go on it.  She likes to ride Dumbo.

 

 Lydia was helping me push Brooke and the stroller up the hill.  That hill is actually pretty steep, especially with the stroller weighed down with coolers, diaper bags, and babies!

 Lydia didn't want her picture by the rhino, but Brooke is more easy going.

 This was Baby Xander's first trip to the zoo too.  He slept through most of it just like the animals.

 We got to ride the train too.  Lydia loves trains so it was a lot of fun to take her on it and watch her facial expressions as we went around the tracks.

 

 

 As we were getting ready to leave, the girls got to play with the big ball and water.  They both had so much fun with it!

I love taking the girls places and watching them have so much fun.  It is funny how things change once you have kids.  The zoo was fun and we are excited to go back again!
