Bren and Frida's Wedding
My cousin Bren got married on July 22nd. He got married in the Salt Lake Temple. Justin didn't have any extra vacation days so he had to stay at work and just Lydia and I went to the temple.
My cousin Carson was nice enough to volunteer to chase Lydia around the temple during the ceremony. He really is a great guy!
The ceremony was wonderful and we were able to listen to part of it in Swedish since Bren's wife, Frida, is from Sweden and that is where Bren served his mission.
It was a pretty hot day and waiting for the group pictures took a little longer than normal so everyone was trying to find some shade to hide in. This is my grandpa.
Jillian was nice enough to chase Lydia around while we were waiting the pictures. Lydia doesn't know how to hold still at all!
The reception was held in my aunt's backyard. It was the perfect location for a reception too. They did popcorn, ice cream cones, snowcones, a Swedish dish, and cupcakes for the dessert. It was fun because they had each thing set up at a different location. My uncle Darrin was in charge of the popcorn.
Lydia loves playing in the little stream that runs through the backyard.
Lydia also loved the trampoline and kept trying to get me to jump on it with her.
Her favorite part was the ice cream cones though. She actually had two during the night. The first one was given to her, but the second one she stole right out of Carson's hands. I guess she figured that since she was such good buddies with Carson that he wouldn't mind.

We can ask Lydia how old she is and she will tell us. She gets excited to do it. It's pretty funny to watch. She is saying that she is one!
She also has started saying uh-oh a lot. She used to say oh no, but it is now more of an uh-oh and she always covers her mouth when she says it.
It was a fun wedding, and as always, it was lots of fun to see (almost) the entire family.

Fountains
Justin, Lydia, and I went to Tucanos in Provo for dinner the other night. You get a free meal during the month of your birthday so we decided to take advantage of it and go there for Justin's birthday dinner (yes, he makes sure that we celebrate all month long). There were some fountains in the shopping center where the restaurant was located that we let Lydia play in after dinner.
She absolutely loved it! She had so much fun. She kept clapping and clapping and running to the next fountain.
It was so fun watching her. We could tell that she was having so much fun and that she was entirely enjoying herself. It was the best thing ever.

She is the best little girl ever! She has the cutest smile and the happiest little giggle.
Rock Star
Lydia loves music so much! Whenever she hears any type of music she starts dancing. She has gone through a whole bunch of different dance moves. It is so fun to watch.
She has a little guitar that plays music and songs that she loves. It is about as tall as she is. She goes over to the toy bin and pulls it out. It is so funny watching her try to carry it.
She loves playing with it. I love watching her play and dance! She is the cutest little girl ever.

Matthew and Lisa's Visit - Day Four
On Sunday we went to church in the morning. Lydia was sitting on my mom's bed watching Dumbo. It is what Nathan used to go every time he was there. She is also holding a little stuffed Dumbo.
After church my dad's brother, Brad, and his kids came over. Brad and Jared, my cousin, were in town from Connecticut to visit my grandma who lives in Hyrum so my other cousins, Chantelle and Bradford and Kayla (Bradford's wife) drove down from BYU-Idaho to have a bbq with everyone. My grandma and Chester came over too. After dinner my dad got the four-wheeler out for everyone to ride on. I didn't take pictures, but I stole these next ones from my uncle Brad. The first ones are of Chantelle and Bradford.

Samie - she is all dirty. She stands in the sprinklers in the pasture to cool off and then rolls in the mud. She was perfectly white the day before.
It was fun seeing everyone. I hadn't seen Jared, Chantelle, or Brad for a few years. Bradford and Kayla come to visit a little more often.
Matthew and Lisa had a midnight flight out back to Tennessee. It was fun having them around for the weekend. I was hoping to talk them back into moving to Utah though. We'll have to see.

Matthew and Lisa's Visit - Day Three
On Saturday we all went to the shooting range. They started by shooting clay pigeons.
Lydia and I sat in the car and watched a movie.
She wanted to be by everyone but wouldn't keep the ear plugs on.
My mom didn't shoot either, she kept score. They each got to shoot 25 times. This is a picture of everyone that shot the shotguns.

This was Lisa's very first time ever shooting a gun.

After they were done trap shooting they went and target shot.
We were in an indoor shooting range so Lydia had to stay outside of the room. My mom and I took turns watching her. She liked looking in the window.
Then she found the lock on the fire extinguisher and kept trying to unlock it with my mom's car keys.
The rest of the day we just took it easy. The kids all went and saw and movie and my parents watched Lydia for us. We were very appreciative of it. After the movie we ate dinner (made upon special request by my dad for Matthew and Lisa...let's just say an important ingredient might have been left out of the recipe), and then we rode the four wheeler a little bit.

Matthew and Lisa's Visit - Day Two
On Friday we went boating at Hyrum Reservoir. It was a perfect day for boating. I think that Hyrum Reservoir is very pretty lake. Lydia enjoyed the boat a lot better this year than she did last year. I think she was more comfortable in her life jacket this year.

Jillian and Brady
Lydia and Justin were the first ones to adventure into the water. They went on the tube first.
After a little bit I decided to join them.
After a while Lydia tried to climb out of the tube and into the lake, so Lydia and I got out and let Justin have the tube to himself.
He sat on it first, then he stood, and then he laid across it. He enjoys the tube.
Lisa and Jillian were next on the tube. Their ride was as exciting as mine and Lydia's.
While Lisa and Jillian were tubing, my dad let Lydia drive the boat. Once again, she just wanted to be on his lap.
We then took a break and let Lydia play in the water a little bit.
After the tubing was done we stopped and ate a picnic lunch. Lydia and my dad found some steps and ventured down into the water. When we tried to bring her out of the water she got very upset. My mom volunteered to stay on the shore with Lydia (my mom's not a huge fan of the boat).
Justin went wake boarding after lunch. I was going to show him up, but figured it probably wasn't a very good idea.

I got the best picture of one of his wipe-outs too!
Jillian went on the knee board next.
I got a good picture of her falling too. She tries to stand up on it.
After boating we went to Pizza Pie Cafe for dinner.
Lydia seemed to enjoy herself during dinner.

Once we got back to my parents' she saw the four wheeler and insisted on climbing onto it. She loves them!
We had fun, but were all very tired from being in the sun all day.
