Feeding Ivy

Lydia is getting big enough that she can do chores herself.  She loves feeding Ivy.  This picture makes her look so big.  Ivy has been a lot of fun to have.  The girls love her and Ivy loves the girls.  Lydia whinnies at Ivy when she goes out to feed her and Ivy always whinnies back at her.  Lydia can also get Ivy to whinny back to her at other times.  Every little girl needs their own pony!

Motorcycle Fun

Our neighbor brought over a little motorcycle for the girls to use from now until they outgrow it.  Lydia was afraid of it for awhile, but she decided that she likes it now.  She is still too little to ride it by herself, but she controls the speed and Justin pretty much just runs to keep up with her to hold her up.
Brooke also loves it.  She thinks that she is just as big as Lydia so of course she had to try it too.
This is a scary picture!  Hold on Brooke, hold on!  (Don't worry, Brooke had shoes on when she was riding the motorcycle.)
Lydia likes that her motorcycle is yellow because it matches Justin's dirt bike which is also yellow.

Leatherby's for Mother's Day

Justin took the girls and me to Leatherby's for my Mother's Day date.  I think the girls enjoyed it as much as I did!

Brooke's shirt needed some major Spray and Wash after she was done.  She had ice cream everywhere.
Lydia finished her little dish and took over finishing Justin's!
There is a Planet Fitness next door to Leatherby's.  The girls thought the hands were funny.
I had a great Mother's Day and I am so thankful to have such an amazing husband who made sure to make it special for me!

The Girls in Mendon

Brooke and Lydia spent the weekend at my parent's house while Justin and I celebrated our anniversary.  They had so much fun.  I don't have a lot of pictures of their weekend, but they spent a lot of time playing in a pile of dirt.  They got to go out to dinner, feed the horses treats, walk to the railroad tracks to put pennies out to get smashed, and lots more.  Both girls love being there!

I love this picture of Lydia posing with Hollie!
 Shovels ready to go!
I'm so grateful to have such wonderful parents!

Five Year Anniversary

Justin and I were lucky enough to be able able to celebrate our five year anniversary with a weekend away from the girls.  My parents took the girls up to Mendon to stay with them on Thursday and we picked them up Saturday afternoon.  The girls end up having more fun there then they would have had at home anyway.  Justin and I stayed around town and had a lot of fun.  On Thursday we went to the Gateway, walked around the stores, saw a movie, and ate dinner at the Cheesecake Factory.  We spent the night at the Anniversary Inn.
We thought it would be fun to pose by the Monsters University posters.
We went to the Disney Store at City Creek and had fun playing in the princess area.

On Friday we went to a temple session at the Salt Lake Temple,  and we went and saw the Joseph Smith movie at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building.
We were also able to walk around Temple Square.  It is such a pretty place.  The landscaping is amazing and so well kept.  I love being there.

We also went on a tour of the Conference Center.  Neither one of us had ever been up to the roof before.  It is amazing what they have done up there.  Plus, you got a great view of the city.

Friday evening we went and watched the Bees play.  It was a lot of fun.  They even won!

Justin was so excited to get a hot dog.  We actually had to wait until the game started because he wanted to eat his hot dog during the game.  This is the picture of him enjoying it (kind of a funny face he is pulling there).
We spent the night at home on Friday and then drove up to Cache Valley on Saturday morning.  We headed to Porcupine Dam and had a picnic and then went on a little hike.  Porcupine Dam is so pretty and quiet.

It was so much fun to have the weekend with just Justin.  We were able to relax, laugh, and have some fun conversations!  I love you so much babe!!!  Happy Anniversary!
