Gardner Village

We went to Gardner Village with the Laraways.  The kids loved running around looking for the elves.  We only got Keera out for one of the pictures.  She looks all snuggly in her little outfit.
Lydia, Brooke, and Nathan thought it was fun posing by all of the elves.

Lydia's Thanksgiving Program

Lydia did a Thanksgiving program in preschool.  They sang a couple of songs and then each of the kids went to the microphone to say what they were thankful for.  The first boy said he was thankful for cars, but every kid after him said they were thankful for their moms.  I expected Lydia to follow suit and say she was thankful for her mom, but no....she said, in a very loud excited voice.... that she was thankful for her DAD!  The remaining kids in her preschool class all said they were thankful for their mom.
Their shirts are turkeys made out of their hand prints that say I Am Turkeyriffic.  Lydia loves her turkey shirt!

And here's the momemt....only a mom can hope to hear that her little girl is thankful for her, but no; "I am thankful for DAD!!!!
Isn't she the cutest little turkey ever?!?
She loves going to preschool.  It has been such a good thing for her.

Three Little Girls

I can't help but take pictures of the girls when they are dressed up so here are more pictures of them in their Christmas dresses.
Lydia was the only one that got a new dress this year.  Brooke is wearing one that Lydia wore two years ago and Keera is wearing a dress that was once Lydia's but Brooke wore as her Christmas dress two years ago.  I love having the girls all in matching dresses, but it sure adds up fast when you need to buy dresses for three girls.  It is hard to justify when we already have some that work.  Regardless, I think the girls look adorable!
Lydia loves holding Keera.  She asks to do it almost every day.  I can't believe how grown up Lydia is getting.  She is seriously one of the sweetest little girls I have ever met.
Brooke is silly and full of energy.  She can always make us laugh and we love it!  Sometimes I forget that she is only two and I expect her to act like Lydia does.  Brooke is a great girl though and tries to make us happy.  She gives the best hugs!

Keera is getting bigger every day!  We love having her in our family.  Her little personality is starting to show and we love it!
I love my three little girls more than anything in the world!

Keera is 2 Months Old!

Keera turned two months old on November 24th.  Time sure does go by quickly.  She is such a good happy baby.  She will already smile at me and I love it!  Keera makes some of the cutest faces.  The first pictures shows her little concentrating face.  She's so cute!

I really can't believe how quickly she is growing.  At her two month doctor appointment she weighed 13.23 pounds and was 23.62 inches long.  She was in the 87 percentile for weight and the 78 percentile for length.

Keera had her second ultrasound on her hips on November 26 and we were told that her hips are where they needed to be!  Dr. Stott told us that we only had to have the harness on her for three more weeks and it was only at night that she needed to wear it!  We were very excited about this news.  She only had to wear the brace all day long for four weeks.  I am so grateful for the invention of this harness because I know that it has helped make both Brooke's and Keera's lives so much better!  You can see the bottom of the harness in the pictures.  It blends in though and kind of just looks like socks.  Keera will need to go back for an x-ray when she is 6 months old just to make sure her hips stayed where they were supposed to be.

Keera has started to talk lately.  She sometimes coos but it sounds like she is saying hi.  It is pretty cute.  She also likes to mimic us when we stick our tongue out at her.  Lydia especially likes getting Keera to copy her.  Lydia and Brooke love making Keera happy.
Keera is a good baby.  She still struggles with sleeping for longer than two to three hours a night, but she falls asleep quickly when we put her back to bed.  We definitely love having her in our life!  Everyone said three kids would make our life a lot more crazy, but I really don't think it has.  We love it!

Curlers

I put curlers in the girls hair.  I was just going to put them in Lydia's hair, but Brooke insisted that she had some in her hair too.  From the pictures it looks like Brooke hated having them in, but that really wasn't the case.

I only left the curlers in for a few hours before church so the curl didn't come out just quite right.  We'll have to try again over night.
