Bath Time
Lydia loves taking baths and she loves getting her hair washed. The first day she was born they washed her hair and she was crying until they ran water on her head and she quit crying. She has been the same since. She never cries during a bath. She likes to kick her legs and move her arms around while she is in the water. She is such a good little baby.

Three Weeks!
Lydia is doing great! We have been pretty busy. Considering she is only three weeks old, we have accomplished a lot. Here is a little update on what has been going on in the past three weeks.
Lydia has been able to hang out with my parent's dog Hollie.
She has met her only cousin on my side of the family.
She has met her Grandparent's Rowley.
She has met her Grandparent's Whitmer (and the bird Oscar).
She has met her Great Grandma and Grandpa Nuttall.
Grandpa Dick is Lydia's only Great Grandpa. Lydia has three Great Grandma's (Grandma Norma, Grandma Rowley, and Grandma Stirling) and one Great Great Grandma (Grandma Hull).
She has met her Great Great Grandma Hull. (Yes, that is right, her Great Great Grandma!!)
Lydia's Great Great Grandma Hull is 93 years old. She still knows what is going on and is doing great. All she wanted to do was hold Lydia and if someone asked her if she they could take Lydia away from her, she would just say that she was okay. Grandma Hull kept running her fingers through Lydia's hair and couldn't believe how long and curly it was. It was a lot of fun to visit with her. Lydia still has two other great grandmas that she needs to meet but hasn't had the chance yet.
Lydia was able to get a Five Generation picture. In the picture is Lydia, me (the mom), Lydia's grandma, great grandma, and great great grandma.

Also in the past three weeks Lydia has gotten cuter and cuter.

Two Weeks
Lydia had her two week doctor appointment yesterday. She weighs 8 pounds and 9.5 ounces and was 21.5 inches long. The doctor said that she is doing awesome. They always like the babies to be bigger than their birth weights by about 5 ounces, so he said that she is two ounces above awesome! Lydia is in the 75th percentile for both her weight and her height.
We were able to go and get Lydia some two week old pictures taken. She was pretty good for the photo shoot. She didn't want to open her eyes, but we still think that the pictures are adorable. She was two weeks old yesterday. Times flies!

We think Lydia is adorable and love having her around! She is a really good baby and hardly ever cries. She is starting to stay awake more which makes it a lot more fun. She will follow us with her eyes now. She is a lot of fun to have around.

One Week
Lydia is now a week old. It is hard to believe that she has only been here that long because I can't imagine life without her. She is a really good baby. Mostly sleeps and hardly ever cries. She only seems to cry when we change her clothes or her diaper because she doesn't like to be moved. She likes to stay curled up with her hands by her chin and her legs curled up to her body.
Below is a week recap of Lydia. It is amazing how much babies change in just one week.
