Lydia's First Birthday Party

Lydia and Nathan had a combined birthday party on Sunday, February 20th. Nathan turned three on February 18th and Lydia turned one on February 23rd so we decided to celebrate together.It was a lot of fun. We did a Buzz Lightyear and Minnie Mouse theme. My parents came along with my grandparents came. Jillian and Brady came too. Cammie made both of the cakes. She made a little cake just for Lydia and she made a large Buzz cake for everyone to share.
We had a potato bar for dinner. Lydia loves to eat!Lydia and Nathan really enjoyed opening their gifts. Lydia was very spoiled.
My parents gave Lydia two Minnie Mouses. She would only hug the one in pink.Lydia wasn't sure at first about her cake. I think that she was just overwhelmed with everybody staring at her and wanting to take pictures of her. Once everyone quit watching her she decided to dig in and enjoy.Nathan loved his Buzz Lightyear cake. It even had red buttons on it like Buzz does.
All in all, I think that they had a great birthday party!

Lydia Turns One Year Old!

Lydia turned one year old today! I can't believe that it has already been a year. The time has gone by so quickly and we have had so much fun with her. We have been blessed to have such a good and happy baby. She really is the greatest thing that has ever happened to us. We love her so much!!

Kangaroo Zoo

Justin, Lydia, and I went to the Kangaroo Zoo on Saturday. It is a bounce house in Pleasant Grove. Lydia loved it. They had a section that was just for kids under four and Lydia had a lot of fun there. Most of the time she was the only one in that section which made it nice.The next pictures are of her in the little toddler zone. It was a really cute area.
I took her down the big slide a couple of times. She loved it. If I waited too long at the top she would try to push away from me so she could go down alone. We didn't get a good picture of the slide though. Lydia crawled non-stop the whole time we were there. She really is such a happy, fun baby.

Classic Fun Center

On Thursday Lydia and I went to the Classic Fun Center with my mom, sister, and Nathan to celebrate Nathan's birthday. His birthday is February 18th so we celebrated a day early with him.It was a fun place. They had bounce houses, a jungle thing, arcade games, and roller skating. Lydia loved the bounce houses. She started crawling around and laughing. It was pretty cute to watch.Lydia loves going down slides. She always tries to climb back up them after she has slid down them. It is funny to watch.She liked sitting in the different vehicle things that they had in the arcade section.
I was the lucky one that got to take Nathan through the jungle area. We climbed all the way through it just to realize that they didn't have a separate exit so we had to climb all the way back through again. We had a lot of fun. Lydia loves following Nathan around everywhere.
