Salt Lake County Fair

My mom came down from Mendon and went to the Salt Lake County Fair with us.  We had an absolute blast.  Lydia and Brooke loved looking at the animals.  They saw cows, lambs, goats, and pigs that were waiting to be judged.  Brooke would pull her stroller up to the gate so she could see better.

This pig stuck its nose through the panel and it scared Brooke a little.  She hurried and moved back.
Lydia and this goat were having fun with each other.
The fair also had a pony ride.  Of course, Lydia needed to ride the pony.  She kept petting them through the fence while the people were getting them ready.
She loves horses so much.  She liked this horse because it looked like a little Samie!
Brooke was excited to be able to get into the petting zoo.  It was the coolest petting zoo I've ever seen.  It had goats, lambs, a baby cow, a seven week old camel, a rabbit that was huge, a tortoise, a donkey, and a kangaroo!  The girls both loved it.  Lydia went from animal to animal trying to pet them all.

Brooke thought the tortoise we so funny.  I loved watching her try to figure out how to pet it.

The baby camel was so cute!

Isn't this rabbit ginormous.  It was bigger than some of the goats.
The kangaroos had to stay in their own pen.
Brooke is getting so big.  She wants to do everything that Lydia does and doesn't understand when she isn't able to do it all.

It was a really hot day (you can tell by how pink Lydia's cheeks are) but we had so much fun!  It was the perfect outing.  I wish the fair lasted longer!
