The Zoo

Justin and I went to the zoo on Saturday. We took my little nephew. We had fun. Our favorite part was this little monkey. We saw it two different times while we were there and both times it was jumping onto the long grass.

It was funny watching Nathan, my nephew, with the animals. He would watch them walk back and forth and would just look at things. It was funny.
We had fun. Nathan liked the porcupines and the meer cats the best. They were in the same cage. The meer cats were dancing and he must have thought the porcupines were pretty funny looking because he would smile and laugh at them.

This leopard was laying down until we got there so I pushed the stroller up to the window and the leopard stood up and started pacing back and forth in front of Nathan. The leopard would lick his lips. It was funny.

More About Us.

Justin and I were married on May 3, 2008 in the Salt Lake Temple. The weather was perfect for us. We were a little worried we would get rained on or even snow since it had snowed in Logan just two days earlier. The flowers were beautiful and the temple ground and the day was perfect.

We had lots of fun at the reception and you could probably say that we got a little carried away with the cutting of the cake. I think I got Justin pretty good!

For our honeymoon we went on a cruise to the Bahamas. The weather was perfect and we had a lot of fun. It was nice to just relax and not have to worry about anything.

We left the Miami port on Monday and got back on Friday. We were able to go to Nassau, Bahamas; a private beach called Coco Cay; and Key West, Florida.

Meet the Whitmers

A little about us

Justin is from a small town in southern Utah called Leeds.
He thinks it is the best town ever.

This is a picture of Justin in Leeds with his dog Sandy.
She is a yellow lab and a great fa
mily dog.

This is the view that
you can see from Justin's parents backyard.

I am from West Valley, not as cool as Leeds, but I liked it. I have two horses (Samie and Cedar) and a bird (Kyrri) and animals are my life. These pictures are of my horse Samie and my dad's horse Scout. I was insistent that I got my bridals taken with the horses.

I'll admit I get way attached to animals, but that's what makes me who I am.

Luckily for me Justin enjoys horses and dogs.
Maybe not as much as me, but I'll take what I've got.

I decided that since everyone else is blogging and the fact that I am addicted to my sister's blog of my nephew that I would blog. Also, I am sure everyone is dying to know what the redhead is up to.
