Last weekend, June 23-26, was the Stirling Reunion. This is Justin's mom's side of the family. Her family is spread all over the country so we don't get to see any of them very often. Justin and I missed the first day of the reunion because he has used so much vacation time recently. We decided to just leave Thursday night and be there Friday through Sunday. On Friday we all went to Quail Lake to spend the day on the beach and go boating. Lydia loved being in the water.

Lydia loves being outside and loves being in the sand and water. She sat and played in the sand for quite a while and then moved into the water.

She sat where the water would come up onto her and she kept throwing rocks. She was very content just sitting in the water playing.

Later we put her in the tube to play. She leaned back and relaxed. It was funny watching her in it.

Trey kept waiting patiently for his turn in the tube.

Arianna, Justin's sister Michelle's daughter, also enjoyed being in the tube.

After being at the lake we all went back to the church house and had dinner. We catered Cafe Rio and it was delicious!

Lydia liked trying to touch the basketball net.

This is a picture of almost the entire Stirling family. Only one person is missing and he is studying abroad in Ecuador.

On Saturday we hung out in the morning and then headed to a park for lunch. After lunch we went up the canyon to Oak Grove to hang out and have a dutch oven dinner. Each sibling of Carol's takes a turn being in charge of a meal, and Ron and Carol were in charge of the dutch oven dinner. Stephanie used the goggles to help her not cry while cutting the onions.

Oak Grove is pretty and a lot cooler than Leeds and St. George so it was nice to be up there.

Lydia is so incredibly busy. Justin was helping bbq some chicken so I just followed Lydia around the whole time. She just keeps going and going and going and loves to play in the dirt.

Everyone enjoyed dinner.

We put Lydia in her stroller to contain her while she was eating. It is the only way we can get her to hold still without a high chair.

Justin's sister had her four wheeler up there and Lydia goes crazy when she sees them.

Lydia was fascinated with Justin's brother-in-law Clayton blowing grass and making a whistling sound.

We had a lot of fun up there.

That was the last activity of the reunion. We had a lot of fun seeing all of Justin's family.
