My dad and mom bought Lydia a sandbox/swimming pool for her to play with during the summer. She absolutely loves it. It is in the shape of a butterfly. One side is for sand and the other side is for water.
It also has an umbrella that you can put in the middle part to make shade.
Lydia thinks that it is fun to play in the sand and she likes to put the sand into the water. Luckily it is very easy to empty and change the water each time we play in it.
My mom was here the first day that she had it and put her into the pool in her clothes and regular diaper. Needless to say, her diaper got so full of water that she could barely walk. It was hilarious!
I figured I would add a picture of my mom watching Lydia play.
Daisy likes being outside too.
The sandbox has been great to have. We play in it everyday after naps! Lydia loves it so much. The only way that she will climb out of it happily is if the neighbors dog comes outside. As soon as she sees her, she jumps out of the sandbox and runs over to her. Once the dog has gone back inside though, Lydia runs back and climbs into the sandbox.

So fun! We looked at that same one, but figured we didn't have room right now for it and just went with a sandbox. Ellie loves it too!
Lydia, tell your mom there are things called swim diapers. They don't get so water logged. :) That looks like fun!
