South Towne Mall

My mom came down to visit on Wednesday, November 16, so we decided to go to South Towne Mall because we had heard there was a train that went around the inside of the mall. We thought it would be fun for Lydia to ride on it. When we first got there we realized Santa Claus was already there and tried to take Lydia to see him but she got mad because we took her out of the stroller and then took her jacket off. I guess we'll have to try again another time. We found the train though and Lydia loved it. She waved to everyone the whole way around the mall. She calls trains, "choo choos."After the train ride we found a play place for kids. Lydia loved this too. She went down the slide so many times. It was a pretty fast slide and she would land hard on her butt each time but she would get up and take off running to the back again. There was one girl playing on the slide that was kind of a bully and if she knew kids were waiting behind her she would just sit on top of the slide. After a few times of this, Lydia would push her on the back and tell her to go. It was so funny. It amazes me where they learn things like that. It was an extremely cute play area and I am glad that we found it because it is something I will be able to take Lydia to on cold days and be able to keep Brooke by me in the stroller and still be able to keep on eye on Lydia.
