Tennessee Day 2
On Thursday, Matthew had to work half a day so we were able to sleep in a little bit. This made it nice for Lydia so she could catch up a little bit from the day before.
Lisa came and picked us up around eleven and we went to her apartment to visit their dogs, Duncan and Bailey.
This is Bailey. She is a spaz! Lydia and Bailey loved each other. Lydia would squeal when she saw Bailey and Bailey would whine and get excited when she saw Lydia.
Duncan was afraid of Lydia. He went and hid under the bed and would only come out if Lydia wasn't in the room. We went into the living room and he finally came and hid in a corner and just watched her over the couch.
Lydia enjoyed playing with Bailey's toy caterpillar! After hanging out at Matthew's apartment, we went and picked Matthew up from work at noon and then started our drive to Chattanooga.
On our way (or a little detour) we ended up in Alabama. We had already been in Georgia to get to Alabama, but the state sign was in a place on the road that wasn't the safest to get out and stand by.
Alabama and Georgia were new states for Lydia and me. My mom had already been there before.
In Chattanooga we went to a restaurant called Big River for lunch. This boat made out of brick was outside of it.

After lunch we walked around Chattanooga and saw all the sites. They had a lot of fun little walking paths and a good view of the river.
Lydia loved looking around at everything.
The view was very pretty. Tennessee is very green.

Matthew liked holding Lydia up for the pictures.

This is a picture Matthew took of our reflection in a reflective window. We don't know what mom is doing.
We had a little bit of extra time so we just hung out for a little bit.
Lydia was able to get a good nap in her stroller.
This is the view from the shoreline.
We ate dinner on the Southern Belle. It was a dinner cruise. Lydia is in her car seat in this picture because they didn't have high chairs and we needed to make sure she had a place to sit.
This was us in the dining room of the Southern Belle.

Dinner was really good. They had people playing music in the background. We had a seat right by the window so we were able to watch the view as we were going. After we were done eating dinner we went up to the top of the boat and were able to sit outside.

The next few pictures are some I took while on the cruise ship. It was a really nice night to be out.
We had a lot of fun in Chattanooga. The weather was pretty warm and it is pretty humid in Tennessee, but it didn't rain so we were grateful for that.

Did they do a drill on the boat to save someone who fell overboard?
