The other day we spent our whole Saturday cleaning up the branches from our trees that we pruned. It was a lot of branches.
We borrowed my dad's trailer (which is really big) and filled it up twice and we still had some left-over. We took 2700 pounds of branches and leaves to the dump. It was quite the workout loading the trailer only to drive to the dump to empty it.
Lydia enjoyed playing in the car while we were in the yard and Brooke enjoyed a little nap inside. Both kids stayed in the car and watched a movie while we unloaded at the dump.
It is fun to watch the progress we have made in the yard. We have been lucky enough to have a lot of help too.
Justin's dad helped with the trees and Justin's mom worked on conquering all of our weeds!! She is like the energizer bunny. She just keeps going and going and going. They have definitely made the whole clean-up process a lot less overwhelming.
