The Missouri is where World War II ended because it was on the ship that Japan signed their surrender. However, the ship was located in a bay by Japan when it was signed, not in Pearl Harbor.
We were able to walk through the entire ship and see the living quarters and day to day life the sailors would have experienced.
Our next stop was the Aviation Museum where they had various planes on display that were used during the time period of World War II.
Justin was able to play a flight simulator game while we were there too.
Once we were done with all our tours at Pearl Harbor we headed back to Waikiki and went to the aquarium.
We were able to see how old we would be in corral years based on our heights.
It was a decent aquarium. It was fun to walk through it and see what fish we had seen while we were snorkeling, along with others that we hadn't seen.
Later that evening, Justin and I walked down to the Waikiki Beach to see the sunset (or what was left of it, we didn't get down there as soon as we wanted to). It really pretty.
Once it got dark, there was the night life on the sidewalks in front of the main hotels by the beach. It was interesting and fun to walk around and see all of the different people and their "talents" they were showcasing. I took pictures of a few of my favorites. The first picture was of a guy that would hold completely still until someone put money into his can and then he would move like a robot and do a little dance routine and then hold still again. It was great.
The next guy was dressed in newspaper.
The next guy would hold up signs to try to get people to come take pictures of them.
There were a lot of other things going on, like artists, bands, and dancers. It was a fun experience.
