Saturday we had an early flight to Salt Lake. We woke up at 4:30 am (so 3:30 am Salt Lake time) to get ready and left our room at 5:15 am. We had so much fun in Tennessee and loved being able to hang out with Matthew and Lisa and being able to let them meet Lydia. They were so good to us and made sure that we had such a great time.

We took a shuttle to the airport. We were very lucky because on the flight home they told us that there weren't any extra seats, but very last minute the flight attendant told the person sitting next to us that there was an available seat up by his buddy. This meant that we had the whole row to ourselves. We had already checked Lydia's car seat in, but it was still nice to have the whole row.

Lydia did really well on the plane. She only cried for about five minutes for the whole four hour flight. She loved looking out the window and at the nuns that were sitting in the row behind us. They were very helpful in entertaining her.

At the airport we were picked up by Justin who was very excited to have us home. I also came home to a very clean house and a pretty fall arrangement of flowers. Don't I just have the very best husband ever?

To add to the excitement of our day, we went straight from the airport to Chuck-a-rama in Salt Lake city where we met up with Justin's extended family for lunch. His grandma buys everyone lunch on the conference Saturday. After lunch we were able to go miniature golfing and out to dinner with his sister and her family. All in all it was a fun day, but Lydia and I were ready for a nap!
