Lydia decided that Mendon is her own personal paradise. She loves being outdoors. She loves horses. She loves being able to try new things. She loves exploring. While we were in Mendon the week before Christmas Lydia was able to spend some quality time outdoors.I've also decided that my little 22 month old is fearless. She will do things that most kids won't. Lydia loves being able to go out and see the horses each time she is in Mendon. Because she was wearing mittens on her hands she wasn't able to feed the horses like she normally does, so my dad taught her a different way to feed the horses. Lydia thought this was so much fun.We saddled Samie up for her and led her around the backyard. My dad walked along side Lydia, but he didn't really need to hold her. Lydia is a natural horse back rider!Nathan helped us lead Lydia around too. When Lydia was done riding, she wanted to help lead Samie back to the corral. This is just a funny picture of Samie.Lydia also loved being pushed down the hill on the sled and then pulled back up by Grandpa.Nathan and Dan also enjoyed sledding down the hill. Lydia also loved going on tractor rides with my dad and Nathan. What child wouldn't want to play outside in Mendon?
True love is not so much a matter of romance as it is a matter of anxious concern for the well being of one's companion."
