We opened the presents from Justin's parents and his grandma the Sunday before Christmas because we were spending Christmas in Mendon at my parents and had limited space in the car. It was fun watching Lydia. She instantly remembered how to open gifts.
She would help Justin and I open ours too. Lydia also opened Brooke's gifts and once it was open she would take it to Brooke and show her what it was.
After we opened the gifts we made sugar cookies to take to our neighbors. We gave some dough to Lydia to help roll out, but she ended up eating it all instead. When Lydia is eating something sugary or wants something to eat she says yum yum yum. It is cute listening to her.
Lydia loves helping make things. If she hears my mixer on she comes running and ready to help.
