Going Home
We only stayed at the hospital for a little over 24 hours after Brooke was born. We were anxious to get her home and to play with Lydia again. We left the hospital on Tuesday, September 20, around 2:00. It was fun getting Brooke ready to go home.
Justin got Brooke dressed in her very first outfit. He is the one that got Lydia dressed too; he also picked out both of their going home outfits.

Here Brooke is in her car seat. Doesn't she look so little?
Lydia was anxiously waiting for us when we got home.
Daisy was trying to figure out what she was.
Lydia was so cute. She kept wanting to hold Brooke and then she wanted us to lay her on the blanket.

Brooke was able to meet her great-grandparents today, Grandpa Dick and Grandma Norma.
Brooke and my mom. My mom has been a lifesaver for us so far. She has been such a big help with Lydia and also with helping me get things unpacked in the house.
After Brooke had been home for a while we noticed that Lydia went over to her bouncer chair and was being all cute and sweet to her. After dinner we also noticed Lydia trying to wash Brooke's face. She is going to be such a big sister.

It is so much fun having Brooke at home with us. It is amazing how fast new babies become part of the family and you can't imagine life without them.
