On July 17th we went swimming with my sister's family. It was the first time that we took Lydia swimming. She was really tired that day so she didn't respond to the pool like we thought she would. She loves the bath tub and will splash in it for hours if we would let her. I think if she wasn't so tired she would have done that swimming too!
For the first part we kept Lydia in her little bouncer thing with a shade cover that we bought her. She was too tired for that so we put her into her stroller and pushed her around until she fell asleep.
Isn't she such a cute little sleeper. We took turns with Cammie playing with the kids in the water or staying and watching Lydia.
Nathan thought it was fun to dunk Justin in the water. He grabbed hold of his hair and pushed him under. He would laugh and then ask to dunk Justin again. Justin is such a good sport. I know he will love it even more once Lydia is a little older.
This is Justin coming out of the water slide. I didn't have my nice camera so it was hard to get a picture at the right moment. Justin is such a kid at heart though and loves things like this!
We don't have a swim suit for Lydia so we put her swim diaper and diaper cover on her and then just kept her in her onesie to keep some of the sun off of her.
We had fun and can't wait to take her again when she might not be quite so tired!
