Fourth of July Weekend

Justin, Lydia, and I went to Leeds for the Fourth of July weekend. It was Lydia's first trip there. We left on Friday after Justin got home from work. Lydia and I didn't know what time he would be getting off so we just played all day. Here are some pictures of us playing. We got to Leeds Friday night and hung out a little before going to bed. On Saturday we went to the Leeds breakfast at the Peach Pit Pavilion. Afterward we went to the Virgin River to go swimming. Lydia was sleeping in the stroller.Saturday afternoon we had a bbq with his parents and siblings and grandma and then Saturday night we watched the fireworks show put on by Leeds. Let's just say it was definitely a small town firework show, but it was still good. On Sunday we celebrated the nation's birthday and Justin's birthday! We went to church in the morning. Lydia had a cute little jumper and onesie and a cute little patriotic bow to match.

Justin looks a little more patriotic than I do. However, Carol and I both had the pink and black memo for what to wear. This is Lydia and her great grandma Stirling
After dinner we went to Justin's sister's house to have cake. Justin isn't a huge fan of cake so we bought him two ice cream cakes instead. Such a spoiled fellow! He was able to blow all of the candles out in one try.Lydia was finally able to meet her Uncle Clayton! I think she liked him. She kept trying to eat him. Whenever he would talk to her she would open her mouth wider and wider.Lydia and her Uncle Clayton and Aunt MichelleClayton thought that Lydia needed new toys so he bought her a GI Joe for Justin's birthday. It is the redhead Scarlet. She loves it!Justin got a present too! Yay for birthdays! We played a fun game at their house too. We had a lot of good laughs and were able to have Ron completely confused for a while which made it even more fun. The Whitmers have a dog, Sandy. She is a yellow lab and a very good dog. Lydia likes animals. It is fun to watch her with them. On Monday we all went out to lunch for another celebration of Justin's birthday! We went to Outback Steakhouse. It was a fun weekend.
