We had a baby shower for Jillian on April 1. I was still in Logan that morning because Justin had gone on a fishing trip with some of the guys from work. We did the last minute finishing touches at my mom's house and then headed to my house for the actual shower. Lydia helped frost the cookies. First, she would frost them, and then she would sit on the chair and lick the frosting off, and then she would start over again.
When we got to my house to get ready for the shower we realized that Justin had completely cleaned the house. I am married to an amazing man!! All we had to do was set up chairs and finish the decorations. Since the cleaning was done, it gave us time to sit around and play. Nathan and Justin did more playing, the rest of us did more sitting.

This is how we did the desserts for the shower. We made a stand for cupcakes and then there is a diaper cake on top of the stand.
We also had sugar cookies that were frosted fancy and they matched the colors of the shower. I made Jillian a diaper cake motorcycle.

Lydia and Brighton eating dinner. We had a pasta bar for dinner with two different noodles to choose from and two different sauces. During the shower we played a candy bar matching game and a Baby's Price is Right game. It was a lot of fun. Jillian got some awesome gifts.
