Brooke is 5 Months Old!

Brooke turned five months old on February 19th. She is getting so big. It has been so much fun to watch her grow up and learn new things. Here are a few things that Brooke does.

**She loves to have a blanket on the sides of her cheek when she goes to sleep. I will put the blanket there and she snuggles up with it and curls into a little ball.

**She is very patient with Lydia and doesn't cry or fuss when Lydia occasionally picks on her like all big sisters do.

**She loves watching Daisy and often times tries to grab onto her collar.**If her binki falls out of her mouth while she is in her crib she rolls onto her side and tries to reach the binki with her mouth. It is so funny watching her because she will lean as far as she can and keeps opening and closing her mouth trying to get the binki.

**She still doesn't sleep through the night. She has been fighting a cold over and over again for about three months. She is getting better though.
**She likes to sing/talk. She always has a big smile when she does it too. It is so fun to listen to her. She does it the most during relief society. It's a good thing my ward thinks she is so cute.

**She loves to smile at people when they make eye contact with her.

**She tries to crawl but gets high centered. Sometimes she ends up pushing her butt straight into the air. Sometimes she looks like she is swimming because her arms are moving like she's doing a breast stroke and she will sit and kick her legs. **She rolls over from her back to her stomach and from her stomach to her back.

**She can sit up by herself. I usually don't leave her sitting up alone because when she gets excited she starts to wiggle and then tips over.**She loves to lay down and play with her toys that hang over her. She rolls and moves all over the place when she is playing with that.

**She loves eating rice cereal. She has also had green peas. The little rice biscuits are her favorite though. She slurps and drools all over those things.

**My dad was her first baby sitter. He watched her and Lydia just the other night while Justin and I went out on a date.**She doesn't cry when she wakes up from a nap or in the morning. She just starts talking and squealing.

**She loves to suck on her hands or whoever is holding her hands.

**She gives you the biggest smile when you go and get her from her crib in the morning.Brooke is so much fun. It is so fun watching her grow and develop. We are so blessed to have such a cute little daughter! We love her so much.
