New Year's Eve Weekend - Part One

For the New Year's Eve weekend we headed down to Leeds to spend time with Justin's family. We started the weekend off by opening some Christmas presents.Lydia seemed to understand how to pull the paper off of the gift better this time than she did for Christmas.Justin's little sister, Stephanie, just got a new puppy- Bobbi. Bobbi is a boxer. Daisy and Bobbi played all weekend long. The played and played and played some more. At one point Bobbi seemed a little tired and laid down, but Daisy grabbed hold of her collar and pulled her around. It was pretty funny to watch. They were almost the exact same size. Daisy looks mean in the next picture, but she really wasn't playing mean. She just looks mean. They did finally calm down.
Sandy didn't like playing as much. She is an older lab. She would try to play with Daisy, but she didn't like playing with Bobbi. We had fun just hanging out and visiting with family.
Justin and Trey had a silly string fight.Justin's sister, Michelle, just had a baby on November 22nd. They named her Arianna. She is such a cute little baby girl. They had quite a few trials in getting her here, but she is a little doll and they are such happy parents.Lydia loved playing with her cousin, Levi. He just turned two on December 27th. We had a birthday party for him while we were there. It was a lot of fun.The next pictures are just cute pictures of Lydia in her pajamas. We went and had family pictures taken Friday morning, but it was record low temperatures in St. George and Lydia didn't do very well in the cold. Her poor little hands and face were freezing cold. I will post more family pictures in a different post. This one is going to be long enough as it is.Our New Year's Eve was simple and not too exciting. Carol fell asleep before midnight. Ron had also already gone to bed and so did Brandon, Levi and Lydia! Stephanie and Trey were able to stay awake.Clayton worked on a Sudoku puzzle.Justin was full of energy (like usual).Stacey fought to stay awake. It was low key, but we had yummy snacks and it was fun just visiting.
