Zoo with the Parkers

The Parker family came to Salt Lake for Grandma Stirling's bi-annual conference lunch at Chuck-a-Rama.  It was fun seeing Grandma Stirling and all of the other cousins at the lunch too.  After the lunch we went to the zoo with the Parkers.  Lydia loved having Trey and Levi there with her.

Lydia had to hold Trey's hand most of the time at the zoo.  He is so good with her.  I love watching them together.

 The zoo has a new baby giraffe.  Compared to the other giraffes it is little, but it is still big for just a few weeks old.

 The animals were pretty active today which made it a lot more fun.  Lydia liked watching the sea lion.  The brown bears were also fun to watch.  One bear was on the log over the water and one was in the water under the log.  The bear in the water kept trying to pull the other bear off the log.  Finally the bear fell into the water.  It was funny watching them play.

 We also rode the carousel!  Lydia and Brooke both love it. 

 

 

 

 We all posed by the gorilla.  It is hard to get pictures of everyone looking at once.

 

 After the zoo they came over and rode Ivy and then we went to dinner and a new store in the area called Scheels.  The store has a ferris wheel in the middle of it.  The store had only been open for two weeks so the line was still pretty long.  We waited for almost an hour.  Brooke was getting a little tired while we were waiting.

 Lydia got to ride with Justin.  I had been on it before and warned him that he wouldn't love it because he is afraid of heights.  Lydia loved it though and kept looking back and forth trying to find Trey and Levi which rocked the cart they were in which only made Justin realize that I was right and he wouldn't like it. 

 Stacey and Levi both had fun too!

 Trey liked it more than Brandon.

 Lydia absolutely loved it.  She's not afraid of anything.  She says, "Me go up high sky!"

Brooke didn't get to ride it because she is too little so I volunteered to stay with her.  Luckily after eating a few snacks she decided to be happy again!

We had a lot of fun with the Parkers here.  Lydia asks often to play with Levi and Trey.
