Eagle Mountain has a new splash pad. Justin and I took Lydia there on Monday, July 25. She loved the water so much! At first she wasn't sure whether or not she was going to play in the water or play with a dog that someone had there. She ultimately decided that she wanted to play in the water.
She loved being there and she ran from one fountain to another. She also tried to copy everyone there and do what they were doing. At one point Justin put his head in a fountain to cool off and Lydia copied him. It was pretty cute.
She kept trying to step on the base of the fountain too because some older kids were doing that. It took her a while to get figure it out though, but it was funny watching her try. She was running pretty much the entire time going from one fountain to the next.
She also liked to sit in the water since it wasn't draining fast enough and splash.
She kept trying to walk under one of the things that dropped buckets of water, but we were afraid that it would come down too hard on her. Justin decided to hold her under it so that it wouldn't tip her over.
It was so fun being there and watching her have so much fun. She definitely loves being in water.
